Besides playing this style of music in churches, we also play secular venues where the music is the traditional big band swing, Latin style and other big band jazz charts.

This year the 17 piece Good News Big Band features old Christmas favorites done in a swing style like Jingle Bells, the Nutcracker (Suite) Swing to the kids favorite of “Hot Chocolate”, the John Berry arrangement of the popular song from the Polar Express movie.

On Saturday, September 16, 2006 we are celebrating with Brooklyn United Methodist church for their Taste of Brooklyn celebration. The GNBB will be performing a variety of big band music from 4pm to 6pm and look forward to you joining us for this great celebration. There will also be a variety of food and games at the event.
